Fastset 60/700 Three-knife Trimmer for book-on-demand

The 60/700 three-knife trimmer is capable of matching a digital printer's make-ready speed, flexibility and productivity. Specifically designed for book on demand print production, the 60/700 three knife trimmer operates with equal efficiency inline or offline.

Control technology, all-round performance and functional efficiency are state of the art. Changing the trim size is fully automatic and takes only a fraction over a minute. Standard, regularly produced book sizes can be stored in the Fastset’s memory.

Output rate in continuous running is 700 cycles/hour for single book blocks up to a maximum thickness of 60 mm, which equates up to over 750,000 standard book pages. Typical output when trimming multiple copies is 2,800 books/hour. The minimum single book thickness is 2mm - and trimming 2mm thick books in multiples, the 60/700 three knife trimmer is capable of trimming 14,000 copies per hour. Fast, automatic make-ready to change the book size means that, if required, the 60/700 three knife trimmer can trim up to 40 single, one-off copies in an hour - each with a different page size.
